An opportunity has presented itself within the Business Support Service for an enthusiastic and confident individual. 

The role is based within the Adults Team that supports the Social Services Directorate, fielding calls from clients, data entry onto the WCCIS system and providing high quality support to Provider Services teams.

The role also provides support to POVA meetings (Protection of Vulnerable Adults) and internal investigations, distribution of care plans, ordering and invoicing via E Purchasing.  Supporting the management of Petty Cash, distribution and banking of monies may also be required on occasion.

Experience of general administration, mail, scanning, typing and photocopying is an essential.

We are looking for someone who will provide our customers with a professional, high quality administrative service and who will rise to the challenges the work of the team presents.

Qualifications for the position are 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) grade C or above (inc. Mathematics & English).  IT literate in MS Office and good communication skills are essential for this position.

Experience of working in a customer focussed environment and dealing with a wide variety of requests and issues, together with a rounded knowledge of Council services will be of great advantage in this role.
