Due to the secondment of the current Headteacher, the pupils, staff and Governing Body of Glyncoed Primary School are seeking to appoint a Headteacher for a fixed term from September 2018 (or as soon as possible thereafter) until 30th June 2020.

Glyncoed Primary School is a community primary school situated in the Glyncoed area of Ebbw Vale. The school has 367 pupils on roll and a dedicated team of teaching and support staff. The school recently had a good Estyn report and governors are keen to appoint a headteacher who can continue build on the school’s successes.
