The management of the Council’s Waste Operations and Fleet Management Services will include.
- To manage and develop the departments expertise in Waste Operations.
- To manage and develop the departments expertise in Fleet Management.
- Preparation of monitoring reports for SMT/CMT/Scrutiny and the Executive to inform decision-making.
The successful candidate will also be required to lead on project management of the Council’s Transport services for the transition to a low carbon Fleet, and to develop, maintain and manage the department’s expertise in refuse and recycling collections.
The department is currently working with WRAP and Local Partnerships to undertake a review of operational practices, therefore future changes to the successful candidate’s duties and responsibilities could occur as a result.
