An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Corporate Services and Strategy Division for an individual to support the development, implementation and review of the corporate improvement planning functions including self evaluation and business planning. You will also be required to lead on the collection, collation, monitoring and validation of the Council’s various corporate reporting arrangements.The successful candidate will be required to Work within the requirements under the Local Government (Wales) Measure including supporting the development of the Council’s Corporate Improvement Plan (Stage 1 and 2). You will also be required to support service areas with the implementation of a consistent corporate approach to improvement planning including through the established Corporate Improvement Network.Educational attainments required for the post are HNC/HND level or equivalent in a relevant subject. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in a performance management environment as well as experience of data collections and systems to analyse data.The successful candidate will be required to have knowledge of performance management systems and methodologies, as well as an understanding of RBA methodology and the ability to present performance information to a variety of audiences in a clear and understandable way.Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process.Closing Date Thursday 24th April 2014 - 1pmInterview Date Wednesday 14th May 2014
