Grade 3 (£15,598 - £16,998 per annum pro rata) (2 posts - 15 hours, 1 post - 20 hours)

1x Post in St. Mary’s CIW Primary School – 15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year;

1x Post in Ebbw Fawr Learning Community – Primary Phase – 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year;

1x Post in Brynmawr RC Primary School – 15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

           

Job Summary

 

Assisting the Cook to prepare meals for the School.

 

Full Advert

 

The successful candidates will be required to assist the Cook in Charge in the production of meals and food service (including tills and handling cash). There will be required to undertake the full range of Cooks duties in the absence of the Cook in Charge to include all administrative duties and procedures and to serve in a temporary capacity as Cook at any location when required, within a reasonable distance, where the Cook in Charge is absent from duty.

 

The successful candidates will possess City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Catering and Food Safety Level 3, experience of working in a catering field is essential.

 

Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process. The postholder will be required to complete an application for a Disclosure of Criminal Records.
