Job SummaryThe role of the Team Manager, Performance, I.T. and Information is to aid and support the Service Manager in the Business Management department.This exciting position will allow the successful candidate to be responsible for several key areas such as Social Services improvement, business planning, information technology, performance, project and data management.Full AdvertThe Business Management division is looking for a motivated individual to lead on the Department’s service improvement and performance agenda, by providing a quality assurance role that drives improvement and raises standards/performance levels across the Directorate.The successful candidate will be accountable for representing the Directorate on the Corporate Improvement Network (C.I.N), proving support to staff/teams, co-coordinating all I.T. requirements and to lead and manage the Service Improvement and Performance team.The candidate must be educated to a Degree level or equivalent in a relevant field, other essential experience include a proven track record of motivating and managing staff in a dynamic environment, experience with delivering projects and an understanding of business process analysis.This post is also available as a secondment opportunity. Before applying for this secondment opportunity, candidates should seek approval to be released from their current post by their Line Manager.Secondments are available to permanent staff of the Authority only.The position carries an Approved Casual Car User Allowance therefore access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement.Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process.Closing Date: Monday 3rd November 2014 – 1pmInterview Date: Thursday 20th and Friday 21st November 2014
