An interesting and challenging role is available within the Business Management Section of Social Services for an experienced and professional individual to join the Performance and IT team.
 
The primary focus of the role is on the production, validation, analysis and reporting of performance information across the department. This includes ensuring all statutory returns such as the annual performance indicator returns to Welsh Government are completed on time.
 
A degree level qualification is needed for this role, however applicants with extensive experience in a similar role within a Social Care environment will also be considered.
 
To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent attention to detail and be able to highlight key points that can be used to identify underperformance. This is a busy role where you will be required to produce information at set times during the year in line with the performance management framework. You will also receive ad hoc requests with short deadlines therefore the ability plan and prioritise the work of a small team is critical.
 
Experience of using Social Care performance information and / or an awareness of business processes used within the operational teams would be an advantage, however it is not essential if you have the appropriate skills and experience.
