Description of Post:    The Governors of St. Joseph’s School wish to appoint an inspirational

                                       and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant in a Nursery/Reception Class.

 

We are a small popular Catholic School.

A practising Catholic is desirable but not essential.

Experience of working in the Foundation Phase is desirable.

 

The successful candidate will:

·         Be an excellent classroom practitioner who has high expectations of all pupils.

·         Have excellent communication skills.

·         Maintain and develop the existing high standards of attainment and achievement for all pupils.

·         Be able to work effectively as a team member

·         Have an awareness of the Roman Catholic R.E. Scheme of Work.

·         Be able to work as part of a curriculum team.

·         Show positive attitude, commitment and initiative.

 

 

St. Joseph’s R.C. Primary School offers the opportunity to work with enthusiastic, motivated pupils, a highly dedicated and friendly staff and very supportive Governors and parents.

 

Short listed candidates will be invited to make an informal visit to the school and will be required to teach a small group as part of the interview process.

 

Successful candidates will be required to complete a Criminal Records Enhanced Disclosure.
