The Governors wish to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Headteacher to work in partnership with the Headteacher in this inclusive school. The Governing Body is committed to appointing someone with high expectations who has a proven track record of outstanding teaching. This is fundamental to the role as the post holder will lead teaching and learning and demonstrate outstanding practice.

 

The successful candidate will have the ability to motivate staff, pupils and parents alike, being a successful people manager will be essential as is the ability to rigorously manage performance and encourage staff to feel truly excited about their work. It is essential that the post holder is an excellent classroom practitioner with substantial experience and has the passion and determination to help drive our school to continue to improve at all levels.

 

Experience of working with whole-school data is essential along with proven success at leading and monitoring whole school curriculum initiatives.  It is vital that the successful candidate is strongly committed to working closely with Governors, parents and the wider community
