A motivated individual is required to manage and deliver the implementation of the Tredegar THI.
 
The post is a fixed term contract initially to 31st December 2015, to be extended annually to 31st December 2019 subject to annual reviews based on funding and eligible workload.
 
The successful candidate will be required to Project Manage the Tredegar THI Programme by providing day-to-day direction to the work undertaken by the THI Project Support Officer; Identify further sources of eligible match funding towards the THI Programme; Prepare appropriate applications to secure such funding; Promote, publicise and raise awareness of the THI scheme amongst property owners, businesses and the local community and to provide guidance on eligible works and projects.
 
A degree in a relevant discipline together with experience of formulating, managing and implementing large grant aid funding schemes and experience in historic building conservation is essential. Membership of IHBC, RTPI, RIBA or RICS is desirable.
 
The position carries an Approved Casual Car User Allowance therefore access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement.
