Sofrydd Primary School is situated in a small village in Blaenau Gwent, on the outskirts of Newbridge town, enjoying exceptional school grounds, excellent resources and a modern spacious accommodation. It is an open friendly school with a dedicated staff who work hard to create a positive, caring ethos.
The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and committed primary practitioner, eager to contribute towards the leadership and management of this successful school ideally to start within the Summer 2015 Term.
We are looking for:
- An excellent and creative classroom practitioner with high expectations for children’s attainments and behaviour.
- Enthusiasms, energy and ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and support others at all stages of their professional development.
- The ability to offer a wide range of expertise in whole-school curriculum planning, implementation and review, ALN/MAT and CPD.
- An experienced team leader with effective interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills to work in partnership with parents, staff, governors and the local community.
