 An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Organisational Development Division for a HR Advisor.  There will be the requirement to work closely with managers in named service directorates to ensure the effective implementation of the O.D. Strategy and associated policies and procedures.

 
The successful candidates will be required to coach, support, mentor and challenge managers in the application of HR policies and practices and on a wide range of employment related issues, promoting best practice and encouraging greater ownership. This will include providing advice and guidance on complex HR issues in order to minimise risk and financial exposure. There will also be requirement to support and advise on organisational and service redesign as well as ensuring that  effective systems are in place for the collection of Performance data and to continually review work practices and performance standards ensuring the most efficient and effective delivery of service.
Educational attainments for the post include the possession of the full CIPD qualification or equivalent as well as knowledge of employment legislation and its application.  Proven experience in Human Resources, working with Managers to ensure effective Human Resource Management and an ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of HR Policies and Procedures to include: Recruitment and Selection; Attendance Management; Dispute resolution including Discipline and Grievance and Termination procedures is essential.
 
The position carries an Approved Casual Car User Allowance therefore access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement.
