An opportunity has arisen for the post of Deputy Headteacher of Bryngwyn Primary and Queen Street Primary schools.
The governors of both schools will provide good support to  the successful candidate who will demonstrate a strong commitment to working closely with the headteacher of Bryngwyn Primary and Queen Street Primary Schools in the provision of high quality leadership and the best possible education for children. 
 
The successful candidate will:

As part of its wider vision for Blaenau Gwent, the council is currently consulting on a proposal to establish a 3-16 learning environment based on the Abertillery Central area. If agreed, this would involve the closure of the existing secondary school and main local partner primary schools and the establishment of a new all-through multi-site school for pupils aged 3-16. Whatever the outcome of the consultation process, Governors are strongly committed to strengthening collaboration and working relationships with other schools within the cluster.
