Grade 5 (£20,849 - £23,698 per annum) 37 hours

 The Compliance officer will receive and investigate complaints of alleged breaches of planning control by letter, phone, in person or by personal observation.The successful candidate will prepare reports, enforcement notices and monitor development sites for compliance with planning permissions. You will advise all service users in respect of process and procedures on matters concerning planning law commensurate with the level of responsibility of the post and in particular, to provide advice to service users on enforcement issues and procedures.

 

Essential requirements for this role are to be educated to A level/NVQ level 3 or relevant demonstrable experience in a development related environment. Good written skills, with the ability to write reports, manage own time and meet deadlines is essential in this role.

 

The position carries an Approved Casual Car User Allowance therefore access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement.
