Delivering and facilitating a range of approved parenting programmes across Blaenau Gwent as part of the Family First programme.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to deliver and facilitate a range of approved parenting programmes as part of the Welsh Government Families First Programme.
 
You will work as an integral part of a team providing support across the Borough to vulnerable children, young people and their families who have been identified as part of the Joint Assessment Family Framework.
 
You must be qualified to a relevant Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years, Health, Education, Playwork and hold a recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification. Experience of working with children and families on a one-to-one basis in a community setting is essential as is experience of delivering parenting/behaviour management programmes and multi-agency partnership work. You will also possess a good working knowledge of child protection procedures, legislation, guidance and standards related to support services for children, young people and their families.
 
 
The position carries an Approved Casual Car User Allowance therefore access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement.
 
Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process. The post holder will be required to complete an application for a Disclosure of Criminal Records.
