Main Scale (£22,023 - £32,187 per annum) 32 hours and 30 minutes per week

The Governors of Cwm Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to teach in the Foundation Phase to start in September 2015.

 

The successful candidate will:

·        Have received training in the Foundation Phase

·        Have experience of planning and teaching in Foundation Phase

·        Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of pupils' learning and behaviour

·        Have excellent organisational skills and be able to demonstrate a range of teaching strategies

·        Have good knowledge of assessment for and of learning

·        Be able to work effectively as a team member and to be able to direct members of the team.

·        Have good ICT skills which can be applied across the curriculum

·        Have a clear understanding of the SEN code of practice and safeguarding procedures

 

Knowledge and experience of teaching Read, Write Inc will be an advantage.

 

Cwm Primary School offers the opportunity to work with enthusiastic pupils, dedicated staff and supportive Governors and parents. Short-listed candidates will be invited to visit the school and will be expected to prepare and teach a lesson prior to interview.
