An opportunity has arisen within the Corporate Services and Strategy Directorate for an experienced individual as a Customer Contact Service Representative within the Social Services Duty Team. The successful candidate will be required to provide accurate, meaningful and consistent advice to customers, ensuring that they understand the action which will be taken. You will be required to listen patiently, to empathise with the customer’s situation and convey a genuine desire to help and support. The successful candidate will also work with colleagues within the Contact Centre and other services areas to ensure the highest levels of first time resolution and customer service utilising agreed business processes and standards for data recording.Educational attainments for the post include NVQ Customer Service / Call Handling or similar qualification within Social Services or a Social Care setting and previous experience in delivering customer focused information and advice in a Social Services / Care Environment is essential.This post can also be offered as a secondment opportunity. Before applying for this as a secondment opportunity, candidates should seek approval to be released from their current post by their Line Manager.Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process.
