Grade 7 (£27,924 - £30,978 per annum) 37 hours per week

A challenging role has become available for an experienced and professional individual to join the team. The successful candidate will comply with the relevant sections of the Authority’s policy statement on Health, Safety and Welfare at Work. You will determine planning (and related) applications including preparation of reports to Planning Committee and delegated applications. Case load to include the full of range of applications ranging from householder developments through to complex major cases inc s106 and/or CIL. You will be required to personally investigate breaches of planning legislation being responsible for own caseload of investigations.

 

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have relevant experience of working in a planning environment. 

 

The position carries an Approved Casual Car User Allowance therefore access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement.
