Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council Children’s Services have exciting opportunities for Social Workers in various Locality Teams and the 14+ Team.
We are looking to recruit 4 Social Workers to assist and empower service users to develop their potential for independence and enable them to exercise choices wherever possible.
It is essential that you have experience of working with children and families including placements, hold a DipSW/degree or equivalent recognised social work qualification, and be registered with the Care Council for Wales. Crucially, that you are committed to working in partnership with families, your team and other professionals, helping to create somewhere children have a voice and are heard.

These positions carry an Approved Casual Car User Allowance therefore access to a vehicle for work purposes is an essential requirement of the role.
