An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Officer position within the Financial Management Accounting Team of the Accountancy Division.
Responsibilities of the role will include providing financial advice and support including the preparation of revenue budget forecasts, budget preparation, supporting the closure of accounts and completion of the Statutory Statement of Accounts, grant claims to Welsh Government and other external bodies and liaising with budget holders, funding bodies and external audit.
The successful candidate will have experience working within a Local Government Finance environment and be a qualified Accounting Technician.
