An opportunity has arisen for a secondment to the Risk Management and Insurance Assistant position within the Risk and Insurance Team.
Responsibilities of the role will include processing and investigating insurance claims made against the Council, providing assistance in ensuring that the Council has adequate insurance cover in place for its assets and liabilities and to support the delivery of the Council’s risk management arrangements.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience of producing reports, presentations and briefing.
A knowledge of or willingness to learn about the law and procedures relating to liability claims and the principles of risk management is essential as is the ability to work on their own initiative and prioritise workloads in a demand led service.
