About the Role

As Deputy Manager at Cwrt Mytton Residential Home, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the home, providing excellent care and support for our residents. This role is varied and dynamic, combining hands-on leadership with strategic management responsibilities. You’ll oversee care delivery, supervise and mentor staff, manage rotas, and ensure the home complies with all regulatory standards and policies.

Your role will involve building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and external professionals to create a person-centered approach to care. You’ll also play a crucial part in ensuring that care plans, risk assessments, and audits are thorough and up to date, ensuring our residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times. This is a challenging yet fulfilling position where you’ll be supported to develop your leadership skills, make vital decisions, and shape the care experience for residents and staff alike.

About You

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated leader who is ready to inspire and support a dedicated team. You will have experience in a leadership or management role within a care setting and a strong understanding of dementia care and person-centered practices. As a natural communicator, you’ll engage effectively with residents, families, staff, and external professionals to build meaningful relationships and maintain a positive environment. Your proactive and adaptable approach will help you manage the daily challenges of a busy care home, ensuring that every task is completed to the highest standard.

Registered or willing to register with Social Care Wales, you’ll also demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development, staying informed of best practices and new approaches in adult social care. Above all, you’ll have a genuine passion for improving the lives of individuals living with dementia, ensuring their dignity, safety, and well-being are always at the heart of what you do. If you are empathetic, reliable, and ready to bring your expertise and energy to this role, we’d love to welcome you.
