About the role
As a Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. You’ll lead by example, guiding and supporting a dedicated team to deliver person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere where both residents and staff feel supported and empowered.
You’ll take responsibility for the smooth running of each shift, ensuring tasks are delegated effectively and that all care provided meets the unique needs of each resident. You’ll be actively involved in creating and reviewing personalised care plans, making sure they evolve alongside residents’ changing physical, emotional, and social needs. Maintaining accurate records and strong communication with colleagues will be a key part of your role, ensuring seamless teamwork and high-quality service.
Beyond daily operations, your influence will extend to mentoring and developing your team, providing guidance, training, and encouragement to help them excel in their roles. Your ability to support and inspire others will be instrumental in creating a workplace where staff feel motivated, valued, and confident in delivering exceptional care.
About you
We’re looking for a compassionate and confident leader who is ready to step up and make a real difference. You’ll have an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Management, along with experience in dementia care. Your ability to motivate and support a team will be key in maintaining the high standards of care we pride ourselves on.
You’ll be a strong communicator who thrives in a team environment, ensuring that every member of staff feels valued and empowered in their role. Your passion for care, combined with your leadership skills, will create a home where residents feel truly supported, and staff are inspired to give their best every day.
