An opportunity has arisen for self-motivated individual to carry out the principal accountabilities of the designated role of Playground Maintenance within the Street Scene service area, and to provide flexible support within the Integrated Front Line Service, delivering the Division’s work plan across the County Borough.
Successful candidates will be required to drive any relevant vehicle within the Authority’s fleet, following the appropriate training, as stipulated by the Assistant Team Leader, in line with service demands.
The essential requirement of the role is to hold a recognised play equipment inspection qualification with demonstrable experience of maintaining play equipment and ancillary items.
The post holder must be willing to undertake a pre-employment HAVS screening assessment, have the ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with members of the public, and to understand the Council’s work plans and challenges in meeting standards and public expectations.
The successful candidates should be able to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative and willing to undertake any training considered necessary for the post.
As position requires the use of a council vehicle, the postholder will be required to pass a council driving assessment
