Our Care Workers in Blaenau Gwent, provide meaningful support to individuals in a wide range of services.

Individuals who need support may need assistance 24 hours a day seven days a week so you will need to work a shift pattern.

Individuals have care and support plans specific to their needs and outcomes, this will involve personal care, meals and mobility.  As a Care Worker, you will provide a range of tasks, always encourage independence and support individual’s wellbeing.  You will be the eyes and ears of the service so will need to be alert to changing needs and know when to report changes and concerns.  The work can be challenging but is rewarding.

The care sector employs individuals who are kind, reliable, adaptable, polite, sensitive, supportive and friendly. They enjoy working as part of a team and see it as a privilege to be trusted to support others.
