An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join the busy Creditors Team, situated within the Accountancy Division.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

processing and validation of invoices using the KOFAX and Civic Financials systems;
validation of suppliers, invoices totals and VAT;
production of payment runs from feeder systems such as housing benefits, utilities, childcare, foster payments, grants, kinship, ILF and direct/supporting payments, including file conversion, verification of creditor accounts and BACS authorisation;
utilisation of the NXGForensics module to ensure no duplicate payments are made;
ensuring correct application of tax for each payment;
dealing with queries from suppliers in a timely and professional manner; and
General administration duties and supporting Accountancy tasks within the team.

Essential Criteria for the position include:

› 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at grades A-C, to include English & Maths

› Good customer care and communication skills with the ability to respond to queries with confidence.

› I.T. Literate

› Experience with Microsoft Office software

› Good organisational ability and able to work on own initiative as well as within teams

› Good interpersonal & communication skills
